The National Minority Supplier Development Council is pleased to announce that its Advanced Management Education Program (AMEP) will be held June 2-6, 2013 at the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
This program is designed to provide certified, established, expansion-oriented MBEswith the tools and skills needed to achieve and sustain accelerated growth. Combining NMSDC's knowledge of MBEs with Kellogg's world-class ability to develop and deliver leading-edge executive education, this four-day management program is unique. It will help high potential MBEs achieve the next level of business success.
The criteria for attending the NMSDC’s Advanced Management Education Program are as follows:
- Company must be NMSDC-certified.
- NMSDC certified businesses must be operational at least three years.
- Candidate must be an owner (with strong preference for Chief Executive Officer).
- Business should be at least three years old with sales of over $5 million for manufacturing and distribution firms and $3 million for service firms.
- Candidate must be ready and interested in accelerating the growth of their business.
- Candidate must make a commitment to attend and participate fully in the program.
- Cost is $5,800.00 and covers room, board, and learning material. However, scholarships may be available to those who qualify.
